Youth Programs

Our Shabbat Youth programmes take place every week at 11 am behind the sanctuary.  Here, children are given  the opportunity  to learn Torah and tefillah and to find out more about our Israel and Jewish peoplehood in their own Shabbat services.

Shabbat B'Yachad is a bi-weekly, parent-led Shabbat service for children 0–6, with great stories, song and a lot of spirit. Parents are requested to stay with their children for this program, which is held downstairs in the social hall.
                                                                                                                
Rmonim is a bi-weekly (alternating with Shabbat B’Yahad), teen-led prayer-singing and Torah-story telling Shabbat program for children 2–6.
Parents who wish to stay in the program with their children are invited to do so.
 

Netivot is a weekly Shabbat service and program for children age 7–10, led by one Narayever teen leader and one of our two Israeli emissaries, Roni and Itay. The program integrates tefillah (prayer), learning new melodies, creative exploration of the Torah parsha and the festivals, and an interactive program to engage the young people in Israeli culture.

Arazim is a weekly Shabbat service and program for kids ages 11-13, led by one Narayever teen leader and one of our two Israeli emissaries, Roni and Itay.   Like Netivot, Arazim integrates tefillah (prayer), learning new melodies, creative exploration of the Torah parsha and the festivals, and an interactive program to engage the young people in Israeli culture. 

Other Youth Programming  

Chalutzim is a group for teens 12+ run by our Young Israeli Emissaries Roni and Itay. They hold regular events and activities throughout the year.
