Settling Mind and Body in Stressful Times We live in stressful times, and we literally embody the experience of our lives. When stress builds and is sustained, the mind and body may need some assistance to access the natural relaxation response. Using gentle movement and breathing techniques we will encourage physical ease and a quiet mental focus. These simple practises can be used at any time to help manage stress and anxiety. Understand the physiological basis for each practice and how it helps re-awaken and re-energize the natural relaxation response, moving you toward health and balance. No experience required. All are welcome. Bio Tama Soble is a long time member of the Narayever and is presently a Board member. She co-owns and directs Esther Myers Yoga Studio, https://www.estheryoga.com/ and has been practising and teaching yoga since 1984. Her special area of interest is yoga for those living with stress and anxiety. Tama teaches at her home studio in Toronto, across Canada and internationally.
