Tisha B’Av Shavuot festival services will take place on Sunday May 20 and Monday May 21, beginning at 9:00 am. Yizkor and Megillat Rut on Monday. Services each day will be followed by our traditional Shavuot dairy kiddush lunch. If you’d like to donate to support our Shavuot lunches, please contact the office. There is a tradition of decorating the sanctuary with plants on Shavuot. Please bring a plant with you to services on either day and place it on the window ledge. Our annual commemoration of Tisha B’Av will take place on Saturday night July 21 with a Maariv service beginning at 9:30 pm, followed by a reading of the Book of Eikhah (Lamentations).
