If you’re a fluent Hebrew speaker, come join a conversation during kiddush (upstairs on the second floor -- bring your lunch from downstairs via the steps or elevator) with Meirav about initiatives in Israel that bring together Palestinians and Israelis. Meirav will review briefly recent efforts to unite for peace through such groups as Women Wage Peace, Standing Together and Combatants for Peace (also known as the Bereaved Families Forum). We’ll then open the floor to discussion. This event and others in the Dovrei Ivrit series will operate in Hebrew only; designed for Hebrew speakers, they will not provide translation to English. Adult Education is working to roll out a separate kiddush initiative for beginner and intermediate Hebrew learners.
