We warmly welcome everyone to register for the High Holiday services HERE.

Rosh Hashanah begins on Friday evening September 15 and Yom Kippur begins Sunday evening September 24.

We are delighted to be offering High Holidays 5784/2023 services at the Miles Nadal JCC and in our newly renovated shul. The main services at the MNJcc will be led by Rabbi Ed Elkin where, once again, the gym will be transformed into a warm and inviting place of worship.

Our family services are for children 12 years and under and their families and are designed to keep our youngest members engaged while maintaining the meaningfulness of the High Holidays. Carly Prusky, the shul’s Director of Family and Youth Engagement, will be heading our various Family Services, along with our wonderful leaders from previous years Sabrina Friedman, Sarah Colman, Marcia Beck and Nathan Perlis. Please see the Family Service webpage for more details and information about our exciting new Beyachad Bahootz – Outdoor Family Service on Rosh Hashanah Day 2. Please keep in mind that children are warmly welcome at all High Holiday services.

Please note that because Rosh Hashanah Day 1 is on Shabbat this year, there will be no shofar blowing at the services that day. There will be shofar at the services on Rosh Hashanah Day 2.

As we did last year, a link to the audio of our High Holiday services in the MNjcc gym will be made available for those who need to stay at home. However, we strongly encourage those that are able to take the opportunity to join the community in-person, and be surrounded by others as we reaffirm our Jewish traditions. If you would like to receive the audio link, please register using the link above.

Tickets for services will be emailed to all members and all registrants just before Rosh Hashanah. If you don’t have email, we will mail them to you by post.

Our High Holiday offerings are many and varied, and we hope that there is something for everyone in our community. Our goal is to offer an experience of these ancient holidays which is beautiful, inspiring, and traditional, as we welcome the new year of 5784.
